I live in Aabybro, a town in North Denmark, where I spent most of my free time taking apart old electronics and, less successfully, putting them back together. This curiosity eventually turned into a genuine interest in how software works, which is what brought me to VIA University College.
I chose VIA University College because of its strong focus on practical, hands-on learning. I wanted a program where I wasn't just reading about software engineering in a textbook, but actually building projects, working in teams, and getting feedback from experienced lecturers with real industry backgrounds.
Before starting at VIA, I finished an Upper Secondary Technical Education (HTX) with a focus on math and physics. I also spent a couple of gap years working full-time at both Sunset Boulevard and jem & fix.
My goal is to graduate with a solid foundation in both front-end and back-end development, and hopefully land an internship during my studies.
